November 15, 2006

First, watch this:

Second: an enumerated list of why I love this:

1. Somewhere in the world, a country is jealous of Sweden.
2. As a piece of music, it’s not half bad.
3. British guy: “And the Finnish language is bloody hard to learn”
4. Because life isn’t perfect in wealthy Scandinavian countries, but we should think about how petty some of things we complain are compared to the world at large.
5. “Nice shirts get discolored in the wash, but ugly ones never do” and”Idiots don’t know what side to stand on the elevator” Truths of life.

Sorry you lost your camera. Foreigner, huh. And we Americans are supposed to be the jingoists.
Clever video. Reminded me of a show the Comedy Channel (I think) ran a number of years ago that showed Japanese B-grade films with totally unrelated English dialog dubbed in.
Hope you had a good visit with your folks. We’re in Florida for 4 months. See you in the spring.
